1. Initial Screening Consultations
Initial 30 minute screening assessments are available for those interested in exploring a more formal development process. The focus of this screen is for you to describe your organization, your development goals and to see if Positive Leadership Solutions meets your needs. We can then use this information to set out a plan with specific actions, goals and timelines. These initial screening consultations are free of charge.
2. Positive Leadership Assessment
There are three levels of Positive Leadership assessments that are available:
• Individual: Focused on self-development in your role as a leader, manager or employee so that your role fits WHO you are and helps you better meet your goals.
• Team/Group: Focused on improved communication, teamwork, healing team rifts, moving forward and building collaborative team goals.
• Organization: Focused on corporate social responsibility and cultural change; using Positive Leadership models and research to balance the complex needs of the organization with the environment.
The goal of each level is to identify Positive Leadership strengths you now possess and to identify the most efficient path to improve your job, workplace and the community. In other words, this is NOT an evaluation process that is meant to sit on a shelf. This action-oriented approach is meant to be used to improve your skills, your leadership actions and your workplace--- making this an excellent use of your personal and professional resources.
3. Values Assessment
Values help us understand how to:
• motivate people,
• develop talent,
• recruit people that fit organizations/or divisions within an organization,
• match leaders to followers,
• promotion, etc..
The focus of these Values Assessments is on uncovering development opportunities, self-reflection and self-understanding---NOT pigeon-holing or limiting people.
I offer two types of values assessments:
A. Postive Organizational Values Assessment for organizations and teams.
B. Positive Individual Values Assessment for leaders, managers and employees.
Positive Organizational Values Assessment (POVA)
To improve on recruitment and retention, organizations need to be clear on their values and clearly communicate those values to prospective employees. Official values statements do not always reflect the actual living, breathing values of the organization. A POVA uses an open format to assess the current values of the organization or team, based upon reports from both leaders and members. The goal is to develop a clear, concise definition of the key values that influence day-to-day organizational life and decisions.
Positive Individual Values Assessment (PIVA)
To better identify the values that influence your life and work, the PIVA focuses on identifying those key values that impact your decisions in your entire life (the workplace as well as other areas). By understanding your personal values system, you can better identify environments and organizations that fit your needs—thereby increasing your satisfaction and effectiveness. Furthermore, self-understanding also serves to increase your ability to meet your career objectives as you find those organizations and environments that match your values and aspirations.
